I saw a friend I haven’t seen in 5 months or so and she gave me a big hug and said, “You look so healthy and happy. Thank your love for me.” And even though I am the one who put in the work to make myself healthier, it does make a significant difference when you are with someone who wants you to become just as healthy as you hope for yourself. As I get older, it just becomes more and more crucial for me to be with someone who is healthy for me emotionally, mentally and physically. And no matter what, I will absolutely never settle for anything less ever again.
